The Qajar Dynasty ruled Persia from 1789 to 1925 — a period of profound cultural, artistic, and political transformation. As members of the Qajar aristocracy, my ancestors served in various capacities within the royal administration, from diplomatic posts to court positions of honor.

It was written to confront a pattern; one that becomes visible only when economic systems are examined not by their promises, but by their outcomes. I wrote "The Politics of Manipulation: The Illusion of Capitalism" after observing how modern societies normalize instability while calling it freedom. Housing insecurity is explained as market behavior. Taxation is justified as civic duty. Charity is celebrated as compassion, yet when these systems are observed together, a different picture that emerges instability is not merely tolerated, it is managed. This book exists because too many people sense that something is wrong yet are told that the problem is either inevitable or too complex to solve. The truth is more unsettling. Many of the crises we accept as permanent are sustained by design, habit, and political convenience rather than necessity. I did not write this book as an economist insulated by theory, nor as a politician insulated by rhetoric. I wrote it as an observer of consequences of families displaced despite having "done everything right," of workers disciplined by fear of losing shelter, and of public funds circulating endlessly without resolution.
